I am an organic gardener who calls Vermont home. I am a stay-at-home dad! And I’m a collector of visual stories—a chaser of fleeing moments, more often the ones that define our lives.
I grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and have worked for newspapers across the nation including in West Virginia, Florida, Connecticut, Indiana, Tennessee, Michigan and Utah. I’ve photographed for clients including the NYTimes, LATimes, Sports Illustrated, Dartmouth College, Dollywood and the US Department of Energy. And I’ve documented and witnessed countless weddings in the states and abroad…
That said, every wedding is unique. Moments don’t begin or end based on when the photographer arrives or departs. Thus I spend the necessary time making sure to capture your entire celebration—from the rehearsal the night before—if you feed me ; )—to the send off post-wedding. Simply put, if you hire me you get me for the whole event. I also love stylized portraiture, elopements, destination weddings, cute puppies and homegrown tomatoes. Wedding investments begin at 4K.
